Vidmob, The Creative Data Company, today announced the appointment of Joseph Galarneau as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO). In this role, Galarneau will lead Vidmob’s product innovation and technology strategy, focusing on scaling the company’s AI-driven creative data platform and accelerating its impact across the marketing ecosystem.
Galarneau succeeds Mickey Alon, who is transitioning into a part-time advisory role. Alon will continue to be involved and support the company’s long-term product vision and innovation as a strategic advisor.
Galarneau brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of data science, product development, and marketing technology. He is the co-founder and former CEO of Utilityze, an AI-powered market research platform, and previously served as global head of martech product for Wayfair.

Galarneau’s career also includes founding a martech security startup that was acquired by OpenX and C-suite roles at IAC, Verve, and CivicScience, where he drove transformational change through technology, AI, and digital strategy. He also has been an adjunct professor at NYU and Yale, and is an entrepreneur-in-residence at NYC’s largest startup accelerator.
Galarneau’s appointment comes as Vidmob continues to expand its platform capabilities, including advancements in building a creative data ecosystem and powering generative AI with creative data. His leadership will be instrumental in accelerating product development and delivering innovative solutions to marketers worldwide.
